What are your rates for weddings?

Wedding collections range from $3500 to $6500. If you would like more information on these collections please head over to my contact section and shoot me an message! It's important to know that these wedding collections are adjustable. The more I know about you big day, the better I can help you create a package that fits your needs! 

 

Where are you located? Will you travel?

I am located in the Berlin/Ocean City Maryland area but I am always excited to travel for weddings. Especially if it involves using my passport! I shoot a handful of destination weddings each year.

 

What should we wear for our engagement session?

Im just going to say it, matching outfits aren’t cool anymore. Wear something you absolutely love. Its a great excuse to go buy that cute summer dress or fall sweater you always wanted. Wear an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and represents who you are! Still not sure what to wear? Check out my Pinterest board with lots of great ideas!  

 

Where should we have our engagement session?

Think of your engagement session as an adventure . Plan an adventure and let me come with you to document along the way. Wether its a bike ride down your favorite path, a boat ride to go fishing, a picnic in the park, a walk on the beach with your pup, a night at the carnival.. whatever it is, make it an adventure and something that reflects who you and your fiancé are. 

 

Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like or photos I have seen on Pinterest?

The best thing you can do is trust your photographer. During our consult we will go over what shots are most important to you and then you must trust me! I don’t mind seeing a few photos from Pinterest to get an idea of what you like, but I will never copy them. 

 

Do you have backup equipment? What about a backup plan if you are unable to shoot my wedding for some reason?

I have never had anything malfunction before but it is very important to have a back up set of equipment. So the answer is yes, I have all the back up equipment necessary to solve any issue that may occur. Again, I have never missed a scheduled event but in the highly unlikely event I was unable to make it to your wedding I would do my best to have a skilled photographer equipped and ready to document your day. If you did not prefer this option, you would be given a full refund and a list of referrals for other photographers in the area. 

 

I don’t see any formal photos on your website or blog, do you take any formal family shots at the wedding?

Yes! I know these are important heirloom photos that will be passed down for generations to come. Depending on how your wedding day unfolds,  we usually spend 10-15 minutes for any formal family photos that you would like directly after the ceremony. 

 

How many photographs will I receive on my USB?

Depending on the wedding package you decide to go with, the amount of photos can range anywhere from 500-1000. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It just depends on your timeline and what you have planned for the big day. For an engagement session you will usually get somewhere between 100-150 images.

 

How will you be dressed?

My job is to be as discrete as possible. Which is why I usually wear black pants and a simple blouse. More often than not I am down in the dirt or trekking through brush to get the perfect shot so these clothes are best fit for this. 

 

Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services?

Yes, all of the photos you receive will be fully edited by me. I take great pride in them and its my job to make you feel like a million bucks on your wedding day. If you have a certain concern or request for the editing or re-touching process just let me know. 

 

Do you offer a second photographer?

I typically shoot alone and almost all of the weddings on my blog and website were solely documented by me, with the exception of a few. I do offer a second shooter as an add on service. For more information regarding this, just send me a message! 

 

How long after I order my photos/album will I get them?

It will take anywhere from 3-6 weeks to receive your photographs from the wedding day. This depends on the package you choose and if you are getting married during the busy wedding seasons (spring & fall). The album will take an extra 1-3 weeks for designing, processing and shipment. 

 

When will I receive a written contract?

Once you have chosen me to be your photographer (yay!) The next step is to sign your online contract, followed by paying your non refundable deposit. Once the signed contract and deposit is complete, your wedding date will be secured and locked in! 

 

What is my payment schedule? 

 A non refundable retainer is due with the signing of the contract. The retainer amount is based on your chosen package price. The remaining balance of your package is due one week prior to your wedding date. I accept credit card payments and checks by mail.
