I never regret booking with a couple at the last minute. It seems that no matter what, these last minute bookings are some of the coolest, sweetest, and most genuine people I have had the honor to meet and hang out with. I feel so blessed that I have had the opportunity to document their love stories and even better, get to know who they are as individuals. This scenario was 100% true for Lyndsey and Jordan. With their wedding only a few months away and planning in such a short amount of time, you would think these two would act even just a little stressed.. but no, they are cool, calm, and just so excited for the big day to be here.
Jordan and Lyndsey wanted to shoot their engagement session at some of their favorite spots located near their home. When we arrived to the first location I couldn’t have been happier. The dramatic backdrops were perfect and the weather was beautiful. The only thing we forgot was the bug spray! Whoops! Now the second location had me frantically pleading the sun to stay above the horizon just a little longer… It was straight out of a storybook. Picnic basket in hand, deer prancing, birds flying, an amazing golden hour, and topped off with an unforgettable sunset. It was one of the most surreal evenings Ive ever had the privilege of shooting, one of those moments that made me really proud to call this place my home.
Lyndsey and Jordan, thank you so much for inviting me into your home and sharing some of your most most special “spots” with me. October is just around the corner and I can’t wait to document your “I do’s”!
