It was only a few months ago that Roxana reached out to me regarding her upcoming wedding day. I was thrilled to be available and after having them over to my home and talking about the big day I couldn’t wait for September 12th to be here. Well the day finally came and although the morning brought a few stormy clouds, the skies cleared and it became one of the most perfect September days. The kind of September day that every bride hopes for.
I loved how small and intimate Roxana and Chris wanted their wedding to be. It was truly romantic and together with their closest friends and family, they said their vows. One of the most wonderful parts of the day was that Roxana’s mother came all the way from Romania to see her daughter get married. Roxana and Chris were even kind enough to give me a seat during their dinner and I was lucky enough to sit with some really awesome friends of theirs! Shooting detail shots is one of my favorite parts of the day, especially the part of the day when I photograph the bride and grooms rings. I just loved when I saw Roxana’s classic solitaire engagement ring. It was so timeless and refreshing to see, and their ring shot is definitely a new favorite of mine!
Instead of having a big reception, Roxana and Chris kept it more relaxed with a formal dinner and cake cutting. I must say, it pained me to watch them cut into their cake! This may
have been the most stunning cake I have ever seen! I just loved all the design and detail that went into it, especially the intricate sugar flowers placed on each tier.
Roxana and Chris, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world.
