Jennifer + Matt are Married!

J&M-235

The sweetest love and all things vintage. That is the greatest way to describe this wedding day.

I first met Jennifer and Matt at the Rackliffe House for their engagement session. I knew right then and there that I was going to love these two. They were so warm and even though Matt is not a huge fan of getting his picture taken, the afternoon was lovely and I could not have been more thrilled to be shooting at a new location. Can you believe that? I have lived local to the area my entire life and I had never been to the Rackliffe House. Jennifer and Matt have moved here from other areas and this just proves their love to explore, search out wonderful places to take walks with their pup, and just spend time together outside.

When I arrived on the wedding day, I already knew what was waiting for me. All things vintage. Earlier in the year, Jennifer had been explaining to me her love of vintage things and Matt explained that he loved learning and reading about history,  so I couldn't wait to start taking photographs of all these timeless details they had included in their wedding day. From the gloves to the jewelry, almost everything was vintage. She even wore a vintage robe to get ready in and a fur coat that was her grandmothers. The box that carried her engagement ring was vintage and the garter she wore was vintage.  Above and beyond this, Jennifer created so many beautiful details at the reception to make everyone feel as thought they had stepped back in time. My absolute favorite detail of the day was the paper flower bouquets and arrangements. They were stunning! So intricate and colorful. They adorned the tables, the bird cage for cards, and even the cake. And the best part about paper flowers, they won't wilt! Now Jennifer can keep her bouquet forever.

Jennifer and Matt, thank you for such a unique and wonderful day. I know that including the vintage treasures in your day wasn't just about their beauty for you, it was about their individual stories, their special meaning, and being able to bring the past to life in your big day.
