When Ashley thought to take some engagement photos at the place where she and Harry first met, I loved this idea. Whenever I think back to when I met my husband (freshman year of high school in health class…), I can't imagine someone telling me that the boy sitting behind me would one day be my husband. I bet if everyone thinks back to that very first encounter with the person they now love, they would feel the same way. So when going to the house on 5th St. in Ocean City where Harry and Ashley first met I was so excited. Shooting at a location that is meaningful to the couples love story makes for such special photos.
I absolutely loved Ashley's bright pops of red and spunky shoes. The flower in her hair was even made for her by Harry : ) I cannot wait to see what these two have in store for their wedding next January. When Ashley told me she would have a pair of shoes like the ones she was wearing for this shoot I was so excited. I am not a big shoe person myself so when I get a chance to photograph really fun shoes, I take full advantage! Not only the shoes but the engagement ring was also a refreshing site to see. Its always fun to photograph unique rings and this was definitely one of them.
Harry and Ashley are both in our local police force. Not only am I so grateful that they serve our community but it is really cool to see a couple in the same work field. Thank you so much Ashley and Harry for a windy yet lovely afternoon! I am so glad the rain held out for this shoot!
Ashley and Harry, thank you so much for letting me be a small part of your big day! I can't wait for next year!
