It is no surprise that most brides choose to have their wedding in the fall or spring. May, June, September, and even October are all popular months to tie the knot. But when Cami contacted me about shooting her wedding on November 30th I was so excited. You would think this time of year would be a bit dreary but I found this day to be just as beautiful as any other. The bare trees and brisk air made for a perfect winter backdrop at the Historic Saint Martins Church and all the Christmas decorations and lights in downtown Berlin were absolutely beautiful.
Cami and Cori share the same love for Berlin that my husband Drew and I do. So much that they used the different street names in Berlin to label their tables at the reception. (GENIUS idea!) It was also important for Cami and Cori to have some photos in Berlin with the wedding party. I must say, I was nervous at first because we were limited on time before the sun would go down but I am SO glad we did! Christmas time in Berlin is magical and even though shooting past dusk can be a challenge, it was well worth it.
I knew after shooting Cami and Cori's engagement session that Cami was going to be a stunning bride. She is a classic beauty and just as I thought, she looked amazing. And I will say it now, there are A LOT of shoe shots in this blog. Why? because Cami's shoes were AMAZING. I loved her bridesmaids dresses too. The touch of shimmery gold through out the day was magnificent! Cori, the groomsmen, and their awesome socks didn't look so shabby either.
Cami and Cori are head over heals for each other and with all the love and support surrounding them on their wedding day, I have no doubt they will have the most wonderful life together.
Cami and Cori, thank you for being such magnificent people and I wish you all the best!
