Oh my, where do I even start? Catie is one of my very best friends and I am so happy she has found the man of her dreams. I mean, I think any girl would say yes to a guy that proposes on a deserted beach with a message in a bottle...
Catie and I met in high school and cheered together on the cheerleading team. She is such a free spirit and can make anyone laugh at even the most serious of moments. I was beyond excited for this engagement session. I remember the first time Catie told me she had met a boy named Logan and her eyes would light up when she talked about him, just like they did the entire time we were shooting.
When I arrived to their home I got even more thrilled when I saw the outfits Catie had picked to wear. The first one looked like it came out of a J Crew magazine and the second outfit could have been right out of Free People. I am not a fashionista by any means, which is why I got so excited and inspired by Catie's superb outfit choices. Besides my obsession with Catie's outfits, I was also thrilled to be shooting this session at Catie and Logan's sweet home in Girdle Tree, MD. Although the winding back roads make you feel like your a million miles away from civilization (which is awesome) their home is only a short distance from Berlin. We shot just down the street from their home and it was magical. Deer were prancing, birds were singing, and the sun was shining. I felt like we should have been in a Disney movie!
From walking in the woods to biking to boating, we had a serious photo shoot adventure. These two are head over heals for each other and I cannot wait to see them become husband and wife this time next year.
Catie and Logan, I am so lucky to call you both my friends and I am so happy for you guys. I know the future has only the best in store for you!!
