And so it begins . . .

Happy 2013 everyone!! Not only did I survive the end of the world but I also managed to graduate college! To be honest, I wasn't sure this day would ever come. (not surviving the end of the world, but the part about graduating college) I always thought school was important but by no means was it at the top of my list of things to finish on time. My mind was too busy and curious with other things. I took multiple semesters off to get married and travel around the world. My college experience was definitely not like that of a normal college kid but I wouldn't change anything about the past 5 years of my life.

So here I am! A college graduate! Now what? I will admit, it is a little scary and after dedicating the last 4 months of my life to 6 classes and maintaining a 4.0, I have suddenly been struck with something called "free time". Well, after trying to learn how to crochet for the tenth time and trying to become a person that takes naps, I've realized its time to get busy again! Sarah Murray Photography will now be at the center of my attention and I couldn't be more excited about it! Weekly blog posts about all the wonderful couples and families I have worked with through my busy summer and last semester of school are headed your way!

To kick off the new year I decided to share the beautiful wedding of Caden and Jake Terlizzi. I have known Caden since high school and when she contacted me to shoot her wedding I couldn't have said yes any faster. After shooting an adorable family session with this crew I was so excited for the wedding day. Caden and Jake warned me that neither of them took the best picture. Well, I think it is safe to say, this was just not the case. Along with family and friends, the rainstorms also joined Caden and Jake on their big day, but I truly believe it added to the magic.

Caden and Jake, thank you for allowing me to document this special day for you. I was sincerely inspired by the love you share with your families and the love you share with each other. I wish you all the best.
